Visiting Parliament House in Canberra

Visiting Parliament House in Canberra!

Wrapping up what has been another incredibly productive day at Parliament House in Canberra! Today we were focused on Australia’s national cancer - skin cancer and in collaboration with our partners Mole Map Australia and Chris O’Brien Life House we met with our Federal Health Minister Mark Butler, Cancer Australia to further discussions and strategize on what an Australian Skin Check program would look like and how can it be delivered to rural and remote communities who are at most risk.

It’s always an honor and privilege to meet the leaders of our healthcare and industry here in Australia. Especially having our Health Minister Mark Butler in the truck for a skin check. Such a highlight for all of us. Cancer prevention, early diagnosis, care delivery, and improving patient survival outcomes, takes a collaborative multifaceted approach.

It remains evident that operating in isolation is not a viable strategy, and the imperative lies in fostering collaboration among stakeholders. The synergy of efforts across various domains is paramount to achieving significant progress in the realm of healthcare and cancer management. Grateful for the opportunity to contribute to these vital discussions and drive positive change.

Please watch this space. Hopefully our dream, vision, to roll out these mobile skin check trucks across Australia and bring free skin checks to you, is not too far away.
