Another $100,000 given to Chris O’Brien LifeHouse from ASCF

633kms in 14 days Merimbula, NSW to Melbourne, Victoria for all affected by this most horrific disease melanoma and non melanoma skin cancer and today we donated $100,000 to research at Chris O'Brien Lifehouse It was such an honour to hand over the funds to the late Chris O’Briens wife Gail and learn about all the amazing work Gail and the team are doing. 

The donation will go towards the Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC) clinical trial. The trial aims to reduce the need for invasive surgical procedures by using immunotherapy treatment which can boost or change how the immune system works so it can find and attack cancer cells. We thank the legendary doctors leading this trial Dr Sydney Chng, Dr Jenny Lee and team for all of your work, you’re our hope. 

We thank our 6 full time walkers - Brad Pilsworth, Lawrence Polga, Marisa Worling, Bianca Anson, Jay Allen OAM, Geoff Croucher, all road-crew, our fellow walkers who joined each day and our sponsors who all played a part in todays donation.
